What is the legend behind the logo?
Early in his IT career, Joe Malmberg used to rename the admin account Top Dog, meaning the highest privileged account. And while the logo emerged from this idea, the legend behind the logo has mysteriously developed over time.

Joe Malmberg is the founder of Top Dog PC, which he launched in 2004 with a clear vision: deliver IT that actually works for the business, not against it. With over 25 years in the industry, Joe brings a depth of experience that spans infrastructure, security, and strategic IT leadership.
He holds multiple respected certifications, including GIAC GSEC, CISSP, Microsoft Certified Professional, and is a CMMC Registered Practitioner through CyberAB, reflecting a strong focus on security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Joe is especially passionate about working with small and mid-sized businesses. He takes the time to understand how each organization makes money, creates jobs, and contributes to its community, then aligns technology to support and accelerate those outcomes. His approach is grounded in practical execution, long-term partnership, and delivering IT that drives real business value.
